Proactively build organic trust and user-generated content with the Air Reviews app. Easily request and manage customer reviews to enhance your store's reputation.

Collecting reviews is essential for maintaining and enhancing your store's reputation. With the Air Reviews app, you can efficiently manage review requests, proactively building organic trust and generating valuable user content. This ensures you gather genuine feedback from your customers, boosting credibility and fostering community engagement.

Who can use this feature?

This feature is available in all plans.

1. Access the Feature

In the left menu, select Collect reviews.

Click on Review request.

2. Review Request Management

Order Management Table: Displays all your orders with information: Order number, Item, Fulfilled status, Buyer name, Request date, Status, and Actions:

3. Filtering Orders

You can filter the orders list to look for the order that you want to manually request for review by:

  • Order range

  • Product item

  • Fulfilled date

  • Buyer name

  • Scheduled date

  • Status

4. Sorting Orders

Click on the column headers to sort by:

  • Order

  • Fulfilled date

  • Request date

You can also choose sorting direction, by Older first/ Newest first

5. Blocking/Unblocking Customers

To keep your store secure and free from spam, you might need to block or unblock customers. Blocking prevents spamming and allows you to manually blacklist problematic users while unblocking restores access when needed. To block or unblock customers:

  • Click the relevant order and choose block/unblock.

  • Use more actions to manage blocking/unblocking.

6. Viewing and Resending Emails

You can also view the actual email content that was delivered to the customer by clicking the View content action. This content is exactly the same as what is inside the customer inbox because we saved it right before the email got sent. If customers report any thing wrong with the email content like: Cannot unsubscribe, cannot click to review, you can open and testify.

In some scenarios, you may want to send the email again due to the fact that the email got bounced, or somehow your STMP exceeded its throttling rate. Click Resend to attempt sending the email again.

7. Handling Scheduled Emails

If you find that your customer has received the package earlier than expected, and you want to manually send the message to customers at the most likely-for-review moment. You can filter the Scheduled orders, and then:

  • Click Send anyway to send the email immediately.

  • Click Skip to ignore and not send the email.

8. Setting Up Email Sending Time

Click the Request settings button.

Configure when to send emails after:

  • Purchase

  • Fulfillment

  • Delivery

Select the checkbox to customize the delivery time for specific countries.

9. Sending Review Requests for Previous Orders

We also support manually sending review request emails for up to 60-day-past orders since our app installations. With this action, it will immediately send out emails, so beware of spamming customers with emails. Instead, consider mass action for manually sending emails for the best results.

By default, Shopify allows apps to access 60-day interval order access scopes only.
