# Set up Cookie Bar display

Welcome to the Avada Cookie Consent configuration guide!

In case you already have this app for your store, just jump right in the below simple steps to get your cookie consent banner up and running in no time.

### Step 1: Activate the App

1. Open Avada Cookie Consent.
2. Click on the **Activate App** button.

3. **Don't forget to save** your changes before closing the window.

4. Go back to the app and refresh the status page; you should see that it's now checked as active.

### Step 2: Customize Your Banner

Want to make the cookie banner look like it's part of your site? Here’s how:

1. Go to the **Style** tab under banner settings.
2. Choose from preset colors and display types to find something that suits your site's aesthetics.

3. For more personalization, adjust the color base using a specific color code, change the cookie image, or tweak the alignment to fit your needs.

### Step 3: Set Your Compliance Region

Select the geographical region for which you want your cookie consent to be compliant. This ensures that your site adheres to the local regulations of that area.

### Step 4: Adjust Banner Behavior

Tailor how the cookie banner behaves to match your customer's expectations:

1. Navigate back to the **Banner Settings**.
2. Here, you can change how the banner interacts with your visitors, making sure it aligns with the user experience you want to provide.

### Step 5: Finalize Your Content

Last but not least:

1. Click on the **Content** tab.
2. Customize the message and the buttons on your cookie banner to make sure they convey your message clearly and effectively.
