### **Introduction:**

With the Sender Email feature in Joy Subscription, you can control which email address appears as the sender for all communications sent to your customers. This allows you to either use Joy's default email or customize it to reflect your own business identity.

### **Understanding the rule:**

You have two options for the sender email:

1. **Default Email**: <joysubscription@send.avada.io>, which automatically handles email communications.
2. **Custom Sender Email**: Use your own email address for a more personalized experience. This requires you to verify your email through a confirmation link sent to your inbox.

### **How to set up:**

To set up your sender email:

1. Choose between the **`Default Email`** or **`Custom Sender Email`** options.
2. If you choose **`Custom Sender Email`**, enter your email address.
3. Verify your email by following the confirmation instructions sent to your inbox.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.avada.io/joy-subscriptions/settings/email-notifications/sender-email.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
