What is Online store print button

This feature is Online store print/ download button. You can set it up in Settings menu of the Avada Order Printer app. Then insert in on Theme editor.

Follow these steps to set up the Print PDF Invoice button on your online store's frontend via 2 versions of customer account, allowing customers to easily print their invoices from the order detail page.

Why Online store print button?

This feature can help you with setting up and offering your customers a convenient button to download/ print button while managing their account/ order detail pages.

There 2 versions of Customer accounts page:

  • Classic Customer accounts (the usual one)

  • New Customer accounts (recently updated by Shopify)

How to setup in Classic customer accounts

Access Online Store Settings

  • Navigate to Home > Settings > Advanced > Online Store.

  • Configure the Print PDF Invoice button that will appear on the customer's order detail page.

Choose the Order Template

Order Template: Select the template type that customers can view and print when they click the print button on your online store. There are four available templates:

  • Invoice

  • Order

  • Refund

  • Packing Slip

Add the Print Button to the Customer Login Page

Once logged in, click Add block > Apps > Select Print Order Button.

Click here to go to the Shopify Customer Login settings page and log in to your account.

Verify the Setup

The result should appear as shown in the image below.

In Shopify's Settings > Customer accounts, make sure the Login links option is set to Classic.

How to setup in New customer accounts

Switch to Shopify the New version of Customer accounts settings

If you have already used the New version of Customer accounts, you can skip this step

  • Open the Shopify settings menu

  • Find Customer accounts settings, and click on it

  • Click on New version, and review the information you may need to know

  • Confirm to switch

  • Open the Theme editor by clicking on the Customize button on the theme you choose

  • Head to Checkout and Customer accounts page. Then switch to Order status page

Insert the Download button

  • Now find a position to insert the Avada Order Printer's Download button

  • Click on "Add app block" and search for our block name:

Review the result

  • Have a look at the result by logging in the Customer account page on your store

  • Click on the Download button
