Availability
1. Staff Assignment
Assign which staff members are allowed to perform this service.
How it works:
A service is only bookable when at least one assigned staff member is available. Availability is determined by each staff member’s individual working hours.
Default behavior:
If you have not added additional staff, the system automatically assigns the store owner as the default staff member.
The store owner’s availability is based on your Business Hours.
This ensures every service has at least one assigned staff member and is ready for customers by default.

2. Booking Settings
The Booking settings section allows you to control when customers can book appointments and whether advance notice is required, so you have enough time to prepare.
1. Control how far in advance customers can book
In How far in advance can customers book?, you must select one of the three options below to define the date range customers are allowed to book.
🔷 Option 1: Until a specific number of days
Allow bookings up to X days in advance

When to use:
When you want to manage bookings within a rolling time window (for example: 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year ahead).
How it works:
The system starts counting from today.
Customers can only book appointments within the next X days.
Example:
You enter 365 days
Today is December 15, 2025 → Customers can book appointments until December 15, 2026
🔷 Option 2: Within a date range
Allow bookings only within a fixed date range

When to use:
When you open bookings for a specific period, such as events, peak seasons, or limited-time services.
How it works:
Select a Start date and an End date.
Customers can only book appointments within this date range.
Example:
Start date: December 15, 2025
End date: January 15, 2026
Customers:
❌ Cannot book before December 15, 2025
❌ Cannot book after January 15, 2026
✅ Can only book within the selected range
⏰ Dates and times are based on your store’s timezone.
🔷 Option 3: Any dates in the future
Allow bookings on any future date

When to use:
When you don’t want to limit how far ahead customers can book.
How it works:
Customers can book appointments on any date after today.
2. Minimum booking notice (Optional)
Minimum notice required before booking
This setting is optional. Use it only if you want customers to book a certain amount of time in advance.
Minimum notice is applied in addition to the booking option you selected in Section 1.

When should you use minimum notice?
When you need preparation time before each appointment
When you want to prevent last-minute bookings
How it works:
Customers cannot book appointments too close to the current time
If you do not set a minimum notice, customers can book immediately as long as a slot is available
Example:
Minimum notice: 60 minutes
Current time: 10:00 AM
Customers:
❌ Cannot book time slots before 11:00 AM
✅ Can book time slots starting from 11:00 AM onward
3. How booking settings are applied
When displaying available time slots, the system checks the following conditions in order:
Allowed booking date range (Option 1, 2, or 3)
Minimum notice (if configured)
Business hours and staff availability
Customers can only book an appointment when all conditions are met.
If any condition is not met:
The time slot will be hidden, or
The time slot cannot be selected
