# Inactive tab

Welcome to this guide! We'll be discussing the Inactive Tab feature of our app. This wonderful feature allows you to display alternate content for the page title on the browser tab when customers switch tabs. To get this feature up and running, you simply need to activate it.

**Message:** You have the freedom to customize the content displayed when the Inactive Tab is in use. You can monitor the changes on the preview screen.

**Page title:** Here, you can enter the content to be displayed when the Inactive Tab is in use.

For a touch of personalization, click on "Add emoji" to include emoticons.

**Behavior:** You can also tailor the behavior of the Inactive Tab.

**Show when:**

* Anytime when Tab is inactive: Check this option if you'd like the content to be displayed whenever customers switch to a different tab.
* Only when Cart is not empty: Check this option if you'd like the content to be displayed only when there are items in the cart.

**Animation Title:** Choose the display effect for the title.

* Always show message when tab is inactive: This option will keep the title you've entered constantly displayed.
* Swap between titles: This option will alternate between the default title and the title you've entered when the tab is inactive, according to the gap time you've set.
