How to configure your first upsell offer?

Hello there! We're excited to assist you in encouraging your customers to upgrade to a better version of their chosen product. Let's dive in!

1. Creating an Upsell Offer

First things first, please find and click the 'Select' button in the 'Upsell' section to create your Upsell offer.

2. General Settings

Next, you might want to change the 'Offer name' for easier management of your offers. Don't worry, your customers won't see this name.

3. Setting Trigger Conditions

Now, let's set up when your offer will appear.

3.1. Choose when to display the offer

You have two options here:

Click 'add to cart' button: The offer will appear when the 'Add to cart' button is clicked.
Click 'checkout' button: The offer will appear when the 'Check out' or 'Buy it now' button is clicked.

3.2. Select the product to apply

Click the 'Browse' button to select the product you want to apply the offer to.

3.3. Choose the desired product from

All product: This will display all products in your store.
Collection: This will display products within the selected collection.

3.4. Select the desired product variants

Tick the products or variants you want to include in the offer and click the 'Select' button in the 'Select product' pop-up. Please note, you can only select products with variants and a maximum of 10 trigger products.

4. Adding the Offer

Now that we've set the conditions, let's add the offer.

4.1. Select Offer Products

By default, the products you added in the 'Trigger conditions' will automatically appear here with unselected variants. You can click the 'Select' or 'Edit variants' button to change the desired variant.

4.2. Discount

Enable the 'Discount' feature if you wish to use it.

Select the discount for offer products:

Percentage/Fixed amount: Enter the value of the Percentage/Fixed amount you wish to discount.
Free shipping: Tick this to offer free shipping for the offer products.

4.3. Placement

The offer will appear as a pop-up on the 'Product page' or 'Cart page' depending on your setup.

Offer title: You can use the variable {{value_discount}} to display the discount value.
Offer description: You can change the text as desired and use the variable {{value_discount}} to display the discount value.

4.4. Add to Cart Action Redirects to

Tick the location you want to redirect to when the 'Add to cart' button is clicked.

5. Advanced Settings

Let's move on to some advanced settings.

5.1. Countdown Timer

Tick 'Show countdown timer' to display a countdown clock on your Upsell offer.

Countdown timer: Enter the countdown start time. Countdown text: Enter the countdown text.

5.2. Choose When to Display the Offer Again

You can change the time for the offer to hide for a certain period to avoid spam.

5.3. Active Dates

Set the start and end time for the offer.

Start dates: The offer will display and take effect from the date you set in the 'Start date'. Tick 'Set end date' to set an 'End date'.
End date: The offer will hide from the time you set in the 'End date'.

You can track changes on the preview screen on the right.
