Print PDF documents
Print invoices, orders, packing slips, refunds and draft orders straight from the Avada app or from your Shopify Admin — single document or up to 30 in one batch.
Overview
There are two entry points. Use the Avada app when you need to pick a specific template or language. Use Shopify Admin when you are already triaging orders there and want to keep that flow.
How to use
Method 1: From the Avada app — single order, fast path
Go to App > Orders and click the printer icon on the order row. The PDF opens in a new tab using the template marked Print by default.
Method 2: From the Avada app — order detail page
Go to App > Orders, open the order, then:
- Select the template you want.
- Pick the document language.
- Click Print.
This route lets you switch template or language without changing your defaults.
Method 3: From the Avada app — multiple orders at once
Go to App > Orders, select up to 30 orders, click Actions, then choose Print order. The app generates a single PDF containing every selected document.
For more than 30 orders, use Send invoice email in bulk — the system emails you a download link instead of printing inline.
Method 4: From Shopify Admin
Go to Admin > Orders, open the order, click More actions and select Print by Avada. Choose the template and language, optionally preview, then click Print.
Tips
- Filter the orders list by Order status, Financial status or Fulfilment status before bulk-selecting — it cuts the wrong-document risk to zero.
- Mark the most-used template as Print by default so the printer icon shortcut always produces the right output.
- Use Method 3 for daily fulfilment batches (≤ 30 orders); use bulk email for monthly archives.
