Orders management
Every order synced from Shopify appears under App > Orders. From the order page you can correct the information printed on the document, print it, and download it — without switching to the Shopify admin.
Overview
The orders list shows payment status, fulfilment status, delivery method, tags and print status for each order. Opening an order gives you the full detail page, where three things happen:
- Edit order information — fix the customer, addresses, notes or tags before the document goes out.
- Print — generate the PDF with the template and language you choose.
- Download — save the PDF file to your computer.
How to use
Step 1: Open the order
Go to App > Orders and click the order number. Use the tabs (Not printed, Printed, Unpaid, Unfulfilled…) or the search box to find it faster.
Step 2: Edit order information
On the order detail page you can correct the customer, the shipping and billing addresses, the notes and the tags before the document goes out — the … menu on the Customer card, and the pencil icon on the Notes and Tags cards.
The change applies to every document generated for that order from then on — invoice, packing slip, refund and quote — so you can correct a wrong address seconds before the invoice is sent. Editing the customer and the addresses is an Ultimate plan feature; notes and tags are editable on every plan.
See Edit order for the full walkthrough, the required address fields and how to undo your edits.
Step 3: Print the document
Click Print on the order detail page. Choose the template and the document language, then confirm. The PDF opens in a new tab, ready for your printer.
If you print many orders a day, see Print PDF documents for the shortcut icon on the orders list and for printing up to 30 orders in one action.
Step 4: Download the file
Click Download on the order detail page. The PDF is saved straight to your computer using the default template — no dialog, no extra step. The button stays disabled while the file is being prepared.
Use Download when you need to archive the document or attach it to an email yourself; use Print when you want to choose a template or language first.
Tips
- Edit the order information before printing. Documents already printed or emailed keep the old details — reprint after saving to get the corrected version.
- Notes and tags entered here are shown on the document only if the template has those fields enabled. See Create & customize templates.
- The Print status column on the orders list tells you which orders have already been printed and how many times — handy for spotting duplicates before a fulfilment run.
