How to Access
- Go to Courses
- Open a course in edit mode
- Scroll to the Curriculum section
- Open any module to see its lesson list

Lesson list
The ordered list of lessons inside a module. Best for: scanning the contents of a module at a glance.
- Each row shows the lesson title, content type, and status
- Drag handle on the left for reordering
- Edit and Delete icons on the right
- Empty state when the module has no lessons yet: "No lessons yet."
Lesson item
A single row representing one lesson. Best for: opening, renaming, or removing a specific lesson.
- Title — between 1 and 200 characters
- Content type — Video or File (chosen at creation, cannot be changed later)
- Free preview toggle — lets non-enrolled customers view this lesson with a Free badge
- Status toggle — Published (visible to students) or Draft (hidden)
- Delete icon — removes the lesson; asks for confirmation if students have already accessed it
Lesson Types
Video lesson (Most popular)
Students watch an embedded video from YouTube or Vimeo. Best for: lectures, tutorials, demos, recorded webinars.
- Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL — the player is generated automatically
- Auto-marks complete when students watch 80% of the video
- Students can manually mark complete at any time
File lesson
Students view a list of attached files and download them if allowed. Best for: worksheets, slides, audio recordings, supporting materials.
- Supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, MP3, ZIP
- Up to 50 MB per file, 10 files per lesson
- Toggle Allow download on or off per lesson
- Students mark complete by clicking the button at the end of the lesson
Creating a Lesson
- Open the course in edit mode
- In the Curriculum section, find the module you want to add to
- Click + Add lesson inside the module
- Enter a lesson title (1 to 200 characters)
- Select Video or File in the Content type field
- Fill in the URL (for Video) or upload files (for File)
- Optionally toggle Free preview on
- Set the status to Published or Draft
- Save the lesson
Editing a Lesson
- Find the lesson in the module
- Click the lesson title or its Edit icon
- Change the title, content, free preview, or status
- Save the changes
Reordering Lessons
- Hover over a lesson to reveal the drag handle on the left
- Drag the lesson up or down within its module
- The new order is saved automatically
Deleting a Lesson
- Click the Delete icon next to the lesson
- Confirm the dialog (an extra warning appears if students have already accessed it)
- The lesson is removed permanently
Important Rules
- A lesson must have exactly one content type
- Lesson type cannot be changed after the content has been saved — delete and recreate if you need to switch
- A course must have at least one Published lesson before it can be published
- Draft lessons are hidden from students; toggle to Published when ready
- Lessons cannot move between modules in the current version — duplicate the content if you need to relocate it
- A Video lesson URL must contain
youtube.com,youtu.be, orvimeo.com; private or restricted videos trigger a warning - File lessons accept up to 10 files at 50 MB each; uploads count toward your shop's storage quota
