Module

How to Access

  1. Go to Courses
  2. Open a course in edit mode
  3. Scroll to the Curriculum section

Page Sections

Module list

The ordered list of modules shown inside the course's Curriculum section. Best for: scanning the structure of a course at a glance.

  • Each row shows the module title and a count of its lessons
  • Drag handle on the left for reordering
  • Edit and Delete icons on the right
  • Empty state when the course has no modules yet: "No modules yet. Add the first module."

Module item

A single row representing one module. Best for: opening, renaming, or removing a specific module.

  • Title — between 1 and 200 characters
  • Edit icon — opens the rename popup
  • Delete icon — removes the module and all lessons inside it
  • Drag handle — reorders the module within the list
  • Lesson list — the lessons that belong to this module (see Lesson)

Module edit modal

The popup used to rename an existing module. Best for: quick title edits without leaving the curriculum view.

  • Title field — required, 1 to 200 characters
  • Save button — applies the change; disabled if the title is empty
  • Cancel button — closes the modal without saving

Creating a Module

  1. Open the course in edit mode
  2. In the Curriculum section, click + Add module
  3. Enter a module title (1 to 200 characters)
  4. The module is saved automatically and appears at the bottom of the list
  5. Add lessons to the module by clicking + Add lesson inside it

Editing a Module

  1. Find the module in the list
  2. Click the Edit icon next to its title
  3. Change the title in the popup
  4. Click Save

Reordering Modules

  1. Hover over a module to reveal the drag handle on the left
  2. Drag the module up or down
  3. The new order is saved automatically

Deleting a Module

  1. Click the Delete icon next to the module title
  2. Confirm the dialog
  3. The module and every lesson inside it are removed permanently

Important Rules

  • A module cannot exist without a parent course
  • Deleting a module deletes every lesson inside it; this cannot be undone
  • A module title must be between 1 and 200 characters; empty titles are not allowed
  • Modules cannot be moved between courses in the current version — duplicate the course if you need to relocate content
  • Reordering takes effect immediately for students who are mid-course
