Create student

How to Access

1. Go to Students
2. Click + Add Student at the top right of the page
3. The Enroll student modal appears

Modal Fields

Customer search

The customer who will receive access to the course. Best for: any existing Shopify customer in your store.

• Search by name or email
• Results appear as you type
• Pick exactly one customer from the dropdown

Course selector

The course to enroll the customer in. Best for: courses already published and ready for students.

• Only Published courses appear in the list
• Pick exactly one course per enrollment
• A customer cannot be enrolled in the same course twice

Send notification toggle

Controls whether the customer receives a Welcome email. Best for: decide whether the student should be notified or quietly added.

• On (default): the Welcome email is sent immediately after enrollment
• Off: the enrollment is created silently with no email

Creating a Student

1. Click + Add Student on the Students page
2. Search for the customer and pick them from the dropdown
3. Select the course from the dropdown
4. Toggle Send notification on or off
5. Click Enroll
6. The modal closes and a success toast appears
7. The student now shows up in the Students list

Important Rules

• Manual enrollments are tagged with source manual; automatic enrollments from purchases are tagged auto
• A customer must already exist in your Shopify store; the modal does not create new customers
• Trying to enroll a customer who is already enrolled in the same course shows an error
• Draft courses are excluded from the course selector — publish the course first
• Manually enrolled students count toward your Total Students stat just like paid enrollments
• The Welcome email is sent only when the Send notification toggle is on at the time of manual enrollment
