Settings
App-wide settings split across three tabs: General for branding, language, and refund behavior, Mail Notifications for sender details and automated emails, and Developers for the MCP keys that let an AI assistant reach your course data.
How to Access
- Open the Online Course app
- Click Settings in the main menu
- The Settings page appears at
/app/settings
Tabs
- General — App display name, language, refund behavior, storage info, and storefront appearance.
- Mail Notifications — Sender details and templates for the Welcome and Course Completion emails.
- MCP Keys — Keys that connect an AI assistant to your courses, students, and settings.

- Permissions — What each Read access and Action permission on an MCP key actually unlocks, and the tools it hands the assistant.
- MCP Desktop Setup — For running the MCP server on your own computer, over a local program instead of a URL. Needed for Cursor and most local MCP clients; optional for Claude Desktop, which can also sign in over a Server URL.
