The Shopify POS Integration feature connects Joy Subscription with your physical retail locations, enabling you to offer subscription products directly at your point of sale. This powerful feature bridges your online and in-store sales channels, providing customers with flexible purchasing options no matter where they shop.

Requirements
Before you can start selling subscriptions through Shopify POS, ensure your store meets the following requirements:
Joy Subscription App: Install Joy Subscriptitons app on your Shopify store if you haven't already.
Subscription Products: Assign subscription plans to the products you want to sell in-store.
Shopify POS App: Install Shopify POS version 10.13 or higher on your device. Download from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Payment Gateway: Your store must use Shopify Payments as the payment processor.
Important Considerations
Before selling subscriptions in-store, review these important limitations and requirements:
Subscription Management: You can only sell existing subscriptions through Shopify POS. To create or edit subscription plans, use the Joy Subscription app in your Shopify admin.
Payment Methods:
Required payment methods: Credit cards, debit cards, or digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay)
Not accepted: Gift cards and cash
Split payments: Not supported for subscription orders
Order Restrictions:
You cannot combine subscriptions with one-time purchase products in the same order. Create separate orders for different purchase types.
Ship and carry out options are not available for orders containing subscriptions.
Shipping Requirements: Subscription products can only have a recurring shipping address within the same shipping zone as your store location.
Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to add the Joy Subscriptions tile to your POS device:
Add Joy Subscriptions from Admin
Go to Point of Sale > Settings > POS Apps > Select subscriptions > Add both Smart grid tile & Additional areas
Open the Shopify POS app on your device.
On the smart grid, tap Add tile.
Tap App, then select Joy Subscriptions.
Next to Joy Subscriptions, tap Add.
Tap Save to confirm.

How to Sell Subscriptions on POS
There are two methods for selling subscription products at your point of sale. Choose the method that best fits your workflow.
Method 1: Add a new subscription product from scratch
This method is ideal when you want to add multiple products to the cart before assigning purchase options.
Find the product with subscription options to the cart.
Select subscription.
Choose the subscription plan you want, then update cart
Method 2: Add subscription to an already existing product in cart
This method is ideal when you want to add multiple products to the cart before assigning purchase options.
Choose the product that you want to sell subscription from cart
Select subscriptions
Choose subscription plan
Update cart
