As a customer who has purchased from a store and subscribed to a product, you may want to know how to use the customer portal to pause, cancel, add subscriptions, or update your shipping address.

This guide will walk you through all the features and functions available in the customer portal.

Understanding the Rule

The customer portal provides a convenient space for subscribers to manage their subscriptions independently. By accessing the portal, customers can:

  • View and manage active subscriptions.

  • Add new subscriptions.

  • Modify existing subscriptions: swap or pause active subscriptions.

  • Cancel subscriptions.

  • Edit orders: immediate order placement, skipping scheduled orders.

  • Update shipping addresses.

  • Update payment methods.

  • Review upcoming and past orders.

How to access Customer Portal

To access the Customer Portal, go to your account page and select 'Manage Subscription'.

Once you're in the Customer Portal, you'll see the subscriptions you've signed up for at the store.

How to check your subscriptions

In the Customer Portal, you can view your subscriptions under the 'My Subscriptions' section.

How to Add new subscriptions

You can quickly and conveniently sign up for a new subscription directly from this page, ensuring you still receive all the benefits of the subscription. To add a new subscription, follow these steps:

  • Select 'Add New Subscription' on the Customer Portal page.

  • Choose the product you want to subscribe to and select the quantity and purchase options.

  • Click 'Proceed to Checkout' and complete the checkout process to finalize your subscription.

How to Modify existing subscriptions

For the subscriptions you're currently enrolled in, you can review and take several actions directly on these subscriptions:

  • Swap Your Subscriptions: Switch your current subscription to another subscription.

  • Pause Your Active Subscriptions: Temporarily stop your subscription. Once paused, the product will no longer be automatically delivered to you.

How to swap your subscriptions

To swap your subscription, follow these steps:

  • Select the subscription you want to modify.

  • Click Edit subscription and choose Swap Your Subscription.

  • Select the product you want to swap to.

  • Choose the quantity and delivery frequency.

  • Click Apply to confirm the swap.

How to pause your active subscriptions

To pause your active subscription, follow these steps:

  • Select the subscription you want to pause.

  • Click Edit and choose Pause Subscription.

  • Select the product you want to pause.

  • Click Pause Subscription to confirm pausing your subscription.

How to Cancel Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription if it no longer fits your needs. Canceling a subscription will stop the store from automatically delivering the product to you. To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:

  • Select the subscription you want to modify

  • Click Edit and choose Cancel Subscription

  • Confirm the cancellation by selecting Cancel Subscription

Note: After canceling a subscription, you can always re-subscribe through the customer portal.

How to edit your order

For a subscription order, you can also modify details such as:

  • Edit shipping address: Adjust the address where you receive your subscription order.

  • Edit payment method: Update or change your payment method.

  • Immediate order placement: Place your order immediately without waiting for the next subscription delivery.

  • Skipping scheduled orders: Skip your next scheduled delivery, and the subscription will continue in the following cycle.

How to immediately order placement

Immediate Order Placement feature allows you to place an order right away without having to wait for your next scheduled delivery. This is especially useful if you need an item sooner than expected or if you've run out of a product and want to ensure you receive it as soon as possible.

To place an immediate order, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Edit Order": Navigate to your subscription details and choose the option to edit your order.

  2. Select "Order Now": Choose the "Order Now" option to initiate an immediate order placement.

  3. Confirm Order: Finally, click on "Order Now" again to confirm and complete your immediate order.

By using this feature, you can easily manage your subscription needs and ensure you have the products you want when you need them.

How to skip scheduled orders

Skip Scheduled Orders feature allows you to bypass your next delivery cycle without canceling your subscription. This is useful if you don't need your next shipment but still want to continue receiving products in future cycles. Skipping an order ensures you won’t be charged or receive the product for that specific cycle, and your subscription will resume with the following scheduled delivery.

To skip a scheduled order, follow these steps:

  • Access the subscription order you want to modify and select Edit Order.

  • Choose 'Skip Order' option to prevent the next shipment.

How to Update shipping address

Update Shipping Address feature allows you to modify the delivery address for your upcoming subscription orders. This is particularly useful if you've moved to a new location or want your deliveries sent to.

Instructions:

  • Select the edit icon next to the shipping address.

  • Enter your new address information and select Apply after making the changes.

How to Update Payment Methods

This feature allows you to easily manage the payment methods used for your subscriptions. If you need to update or change the card details associated with your subscription payments, you can do so directly in the Customer Portal. This ensures your payments are processed smoothly with the correct information.

Process to Update Payment Methods:

  • Select the edit icon next to Payment Methods.

  • In the payment method interface, choose the card you want to change.

    • If you have multiple cards, you can select which card will be used for recurring subscription payments.

    • Or, if you wish to update the card details (replace the card or add new information), select "Update selected method" and follow the instructions in the email you receive.

How to Review upcoming and past orders

This feature allows you to view both your future scheduled orders and your previous order history, giving you full control and transparency over your subscription deliveries.

Upcoming Orders: You can check the details of your next scheduled subscription orders, including delivery dates, products, and quantities. This helps in tracking when the next order will arrive or making any necessary adjustments before it’s processed.

History: In the History section, you can review all your past subscription orders, including order dates, products, and payments. This is useful for keeping track of your purchase history and making informed decisions for future subscriptions.
