The Settings section in the COD Form app provides powerful customization options to optimize how your COD Form integrates with your store.

Introduction

This section covers some additional settings options: Country Availability and Form Placement to help you better target potential COD customers and serve your customers. Let's see how it works!

Understanding the rule

• Country Availability:

  • Purpose: Allows you to choose the specific countries where the COD Form and buttons will be offered.

  • If no countries are selected, the COD Form will automatically be available in all countries.

  • The country of each customer will be determined using their IP address, ensuring the COD Form is displayed only to eligible customers based on your selected settings.

• Form replacement allows you to hide default buttons that appear alongside the COD Form on different pages of your Shopify store. This ensures a seamless user experience by focusing attention on the COD Form.

How to set up

Country Availability

You can leave this part if you want to offer COD in all countries. In case you want to choose specific countries, there are 2 ways you can do so:

Method 1: Search for countries

If your countries list does not too long and, you can search for their name on the search bar, and tick on their checkboxes.

Method 2: Directly choose countries

In case your countries list is long, especially they are in the same areas, you can:

• Choose the whole areas by ticking the checkboxes next to area names (Eg: Asia, Africa, Europe,...)

• Choose specific countries by clicking the dropdown menu of each continent to see the full list of its countries.

You can also keep track of the number of countries selected in the Select countries modal.

Form Placement

Here’s how you can customize the button visibility for each page.

Product pages settings

Tick the checkboxes to Hide Shopify Add to Cart button and/or Shopify Buy Now button.

Cart page settings

Tick the checkbox to hide Shopify Checkout button.

Cart drawer settings

Tick the checkbox to hide Shopify Checkout button.
