Getting started

Set up Avada Order Tracking in under five minutes. By the end of this guide your customers will be able to track their orders from a page on your storefront.

1. Install the app

1. Open the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab) and search for Avada Order Tracking.
2. Click Add app and approve the requested permissions.
3. Once installed, you'll land on the Avada Order Tracking Home screen with a 2-step Quickstart checklist:
   • Activate
   • Customize page

2. Activate the app on your storefront

The app needs to be activated inside your theme before customers can use the tracking page.

1. From the Home screen, click Activate in the Quickstart card.
2. Your Shopify theme editor opens with the Avada Order Tracking app embed highlighted. Toggle it on.
3. Click Save in the theme editor.
4. Return to the app and click Refresh status. The task is marked complete when the embed is detected.

3. Customize the tracking page

By default the tracking page uses neutral styling. To match your brand:

1. Go to Order tracking page in the app sidebar.
2. Switch between the URL, Lookup, Status, and Style tabs to adjust the page slug, lookup form, progress bar sections, and colors.
3. Changes update the preview on the right in real time.

After Quickstart: sync your existing orders

New orders sync automatically from the moment you install the app. To populate the Orders list with your recent history:

1. Go to Orders in the app sidebar.
2. Click the Sync orders button at the top of the page.
3. Choose how far back to sync: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 60 days.
4. Orders appear in the table within a minute or two, depending on shop size.

If you need older orders imported, contact support through the in-app chat.

You're done

Your customers can now track their orders. Visit https://<your-store>.myshopify.com/pages/order-tracking to see it live.
