Welcome to the quick guide on configuring your consent compliance settings on the Shopify checkout page! Follow these simple steps to ensure your checkout process is both compliant and customer-friendly.
Checkout pages are customizable exclusively for stores subscribed to the Shopify Plus plan.
First, let’s set up your consent banner settings:
Navigate to the Banner Settings:
Open the Avada GDPR Cookies Consent app.
Go to Banner Settings and select Checkout.
Adjust the Banner Settings:
Visible After Consent: Keep the banner displayed at the checkout page for customers who have previously given consent.
Collapsible Banner Content: By default, only the banner title will be shown. The content can be expanded by the user.
Show Close Icon on Banner: Enable this option to allow customers to close the banner by clicking a button.
Decide where you want the Avada Consent Checkout banner to appear:
Information Page
Shipping Page
Payment Page
Thank You Page
You can easily drag and drop the Avada Consent Checkout block to your preferred location on these pages.
Don’t forget to hit 'Save' after you’ve made your adjustments to ensure all changes are applied.
