Visitor Analytics

View Visitor Analytics & Blocked Traffic

Visitor Analytics shows you who's reaching your store, who's being blocked, and where blocked traffic comes from. Use it to confirm your rules are working, spot new threats, and decide what to block next.

In the sidebar, click Visitors Analytics to open the page.

Overview

The page combines summary stats, visual trends, and detailed logs:

SectionWhat it shows
Stat cardsTotal Visitors, Blocked Visitors, and Block Rate for the selected period
Top Blocked CountriesWhich countries generate the most blocked traffic
Blocked Traffic MapA world map of where blocked visitors come from
Blocked Activity by HourWhen blocking happens across the day
Visitor logsTwo tabs - All Visitors and Blocked

Use the date range picker at the top (This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, or Custom) to set the period for the whole page.

Visitor Analytics overview

Reading your stats

  • Total Visitors - everyone who reached your store in the period.
  • Blocked Visitors - how many were stopped by your rules or detection.
  • Block Rate - the share of visitors blocked. A sudden jump can mean a new attack - or a rule that's too broad.

The Blocked Traffic Map and Top Blocked Countries table tell you where threats originate. Click a country on the map to filter the Blocked tab to that country.

Explore visitor logs

The logs have two tabs:

  • All Visitors - every visitor, with IP Address, Country, City, Page URL, Timestamp, and an Action of Blocked, Redirected, or Allowed.
  • Blocked - only blocked visitors, with the Block Reason for each (which rule or detection triggered).

Filter blocked traffic

On the Blocked tab, use the filter row to narrow the list:

  • Date range - set the period with the date picker (e.g., Last 7 days).
  • All countries - focus on blocked traffic from a single country.
  • All reasons - show only one block reason, such as Country, IP Address, Bot, or VPN/Proxy.
  • Search by IP address - type an IP to find a specific visitor (enter at least 4 characters).

Filter blocked traffic

Tip: Use the All reasons filter and choose VPN/Proxy after turning on VPN blocking to confirm it's catching anonymized traffic - see Block Bots, VPNs & Proxy Traffic.

Export your data

Click Export CSV to download the current view for deeper analysis or record-keeping.

Export your data

Export is limited to 100,000 rows. For a complete export of a busy period, choose a shorter date range.

Tips

  • Watch the Block Rate trend - a steady rate is healthy; a spike means investigate. Use Blocked Activity by Hour to see if an attack is concentrated at certain times.
  • Turn insights into rules - if one country dominates Top Blocked Countries but isn't on a rule yet, consider adding one. See Block Visitors by IP, Country, or Location.
  • Check for false positives - scan All Visitors for legitimate-looking shoppers marked Blocked, and whitelist them if needed.
💡

And there you have it! You now know how to read Visitor Analytics, filter blocked traffic, and export your data to keep your store protected.
