Print or download
Send the label and packing slip to your printer or save them locally.
Introduction
Once an order is Fulfilled, the action column on its row shows two icons: a Print icon and a Download icon. Both apply to the label PDF that Avada generated when you bought the label. The format (4×6 thermal, 8.5×11, or Letter) follows your Settings → Saved packages → Default label size preference.
Understanding the format
The label format is set globally, not per order. If you switch your default label size in Settings, every label printed or downloaded after that uses the new size. Already-fulfilled orders will re-render in the new size when you click Print or Download again.
How to print a label
Find the fulfilled order
On the Orders screen, find the order with the Fulfilled badge.
Click the Print icon
Click the Print icon (printer icon) on the right side of the row. Your browser's print dialog opens with the label PDF already loaded.
Send to your printer
Pick your printer in the browser dialog and click Print. For thermal printers, make sure your default label size in Settings is set to 4×6 inch.
How to download a label
Click the Download icon
On the same row, click the Download icon (folder-down icon) next to the Print icon.
Save the PDF
Your browser downloads the label PDF to your default download folder. You can email it, archive it, or print it later.
Tips & best practices
- Use 4×6 inch for any thermal label printer (Rollo, DYMO, Zebra). Use 8.5×11 inch or Letter for a standard office printer.
- The label and packing slip are separate files. Print the label for the carrier and the packing slip for the customer.
- If you re-print, you're not charged again — the label PDF is stored after the first purchase.
Overall
Print and download are unlimited and free after the label is bought. Adjust your label size once in Settings → Saved packages and every printout follows it from then on.
