Warehouse address
Update the ship-from address used on every rate quote and label.
Introduction
Your warehouse address is the address Avada treats as the origin for every shipment you create. It's the same address you entered during onboarding — this tab lets you edit it after the fact, for example when you move warehouses or fix a typo.
Understanding required fields
Carriers reject rate requests if any required field is missing. The tab shows a warning banner with the count — for example 2 required fields missing — until you fill them in. Required fields:
- Address line 1, City, State / Province, ZIP / Postal code, Country — always required
- Phone — required for UPS, FedEx, DHL labels (USPS works without it)
- Contact name OR Company name — at least one of the two is required
How to update the address
Open the Warehouse address tab
Open Settings → Warehouse address.
Edit the fields
Edit any field — Company name, Contact name, Phone, Email, Address line 1, Address line 2, City, State / Province, ZIP / Postal code, Country.
Save the changes
Click Save in the top-bar save button. A toast confirms Settings saved.
Tips & best practices
- Use the actual physical address you ship from. Carriers verify it for service area and pickup eligibility.
- The Email field is for shipping account notifications, not customer-facing.
- If the 2 required fields missing banner persists after saving, check the field-level error text under each input.
- Changing this address affects every future rate quote. Already-bought labels keep their original ship-from address.
Overall
Your warehouse address rarely changes after the first save. When it does, this tab is the single source of truth — every label printed afterward picks up the new address automatically.
