What are Speed expert notifications?
When you're on the Expert plan, you don't have to chase your specialist for updates — they come to you. Speed expert notifications keep you informed at every stage, from the first optimization through the monthly check-ins that follow.
You'll know when work starts, when it's ready for your review, and how much faster your store got — without logging in to check.
When you'll hear from your specialist
- Kickoff — your Customer Success team reaches out to introduce your specialist and confirm theme access.
- Optimization ready — a notification when the optimized theme copy is ready for you to review and approve.
- Approval reminders — a nudge if an optimization is waiting on your go-ahead.
- Monthly speed audit report — every month, a report on your current performance, anything new that needs attention, and what to do next.
The monthly speed audit report
Each report your specialist sends includes:
- Optimization summary — how many changes were applied
- Speed improvement — your Mobile and Desktop PageSpeed scores before and after, with the change in points
- PageSpeed reports — before/after links so you can dig into the details
- What changed and what they recommend next
Where you receive them
- In-app chat — your specialist delivers reports and updates directly in the in-app chat.
- Email — important updates also reach the email on your account, so nothing slips by.
📌 Merchant Notes
- Every change your specialist makes is also logged in Analytics → Optimization activity, so you always have a full record.
- The optimized theme only goes live when you approve it — notifications never trigger changes on their own.
- Your first optimization is delivered in 3–5 days after kickoff.
