This feature compresses those theme images automatically.

⚙️ How to use Asset image optimization
Step 1: Open Self-optimize
Go to Speed up → Self-optimize.

Step 2: Turn on Asset image optimization
Turn on Asset image optimization.

Step 3: Apply to your theme
Click Speed up now and pick a theme to apply changes.

- Product, collection, and blog images are handled separately by Image compression — this feature covers only the images built into your theme.
- Theme images appear on every page, so compressing them gives a store-wide speed benefit.
