FAQs
Sync and updates
I changed a product in Shopify. Why doesn't my feed show it?
Updates are not instant. The change reaches your feed at the next scheduled sync, if automatic sync is on. You can also open the feed and click Regenerate XML file. Google or Meta then picks up the new file at its next fetch.
I clicked Regenerate XML file, but the data still looks old. Why?
The app reused a recent copy of your catalog. If it read your catalog in the last 4 hours, Regenerate XML file uses that copy instead of reading Shopify again. Try again later.
To refresh one product right away, open its menu in the product table and choose Sync.
Why are my out-of-stock products missing?
The app always holds back products that are out of stock, so shoppers never land on something they can't buy. You still see them in the feed's product table. They go back into the feed at the next sync after Shopify shows stock again.
Approval and feed health
Why is the approval status empty or Pending?
Google or Meta hasn't reviewed your products yet. Status only shows after the first publish.
To check again, open the feed, hover over the Feed health ring and click Rescan. See Feed details for more.
What does the Feed health score mean?
It's the share of products in the feed with no blocking problem. Products with only warnings still count. A higher score means more of your products are ready to be approved and show in ads.
Your store and channels
Do edits in the app change my Shopify products?
No. Your edits change the feed only, and your Shopify products stay as they are. Link, Price and Availability always come from Shopify and can't be edited in the app.
Which channels are supported?
Google Merchant Center, and Meta for Facebook and Instagram catalogs. Each feed sends one market to one channel. Connect your accounts in Settings.
How do I remove products from Merchant Center or Meta?
Exclude them from the feed. In the feed's product table, choose Exclude from feed on one product, or select several and click Exclude.
To remove all of a feed's products, click Delete feed and tick the box to also delete its products. If you leave the box unticked, the products stay live on the channel.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Your feeds and settings in the app are deleted. Products already sent to Merchant Center or Meta stay there.
To take your products down, delete each feed before you uninstall and tick the box to also delete its products.
