No-show automation

No-show Automation

Overview

No-show marks an appointment where the customer never arrived. You don't need to set anything up or update it yourself — the system handles it automatically once an appointment ends with no status change from you.

How It Works

Only appointments still in Approved status are affected — once you've marked one as Arrived, Completed, etc., it's no longer touched by the automation. Cancelled appointments are never auto-marked either.

Appointment end time passes

15 minutes later → reminder email sent to you

30 minutes later → still no status update?
    ├── No update → automatically marked No-show
└── You updated it → skipped, your status stands

Reminder Email

15 minutes after the appointment ends, if you haven't updated the status, you get an email letting you know — with a link to open the appointment and update it before the automatic mark happens.

No email is sent to the customer when an appointment is auto-marked — it's an internal status update only.

How It Appears

When an appointment is auto-marked:

  • Status badge changes to No-show
  • The appointment detail shows an info banner noting it was automatically marked, with the date and time
