Set Up Consent Compliance on Customized Domain Customer Account Pages
If your store uses a customized domain for customer account pages, you can extend the cookie consent banner to those pages as well.
Prerequisite: You must have a customized domain connected to your Shopify store's customer account pages.
Enable Banner and Sync Consent
Navigate to Settings > Banner Settings in the Avada Cookie Consent app. Find the customized domain section and toggle the setting ON to enable the consent banner on your custom domain customer account pages.
When enabled, consent data is automatically synced between your main store domain and the customized customer account domain. This means visitors who have already given consent on your storefront will not see the banner again on their account pages.
Add Consent Banner in Theme Editor
Open your Shopify Theme Editor and navigate to the customer account page template. Add the Avada Cookie Consent banner block to ensure the banner is properly rendered on these pages.
If consent is not syncing correctly between domains, verify that both domains share the same root domain. Cross-domain consent syncing only works for subdomains of the same root domain.
