How to Add CCPA to Your Website's Menu
To comply with CCPA requirements, you should add a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link to your website's navigation. Here's how to do it in Shopify.
Create New Menu Item
Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Navigation. Select the menu where you want to add the CCPA link (usually the footer menu). Click Add menu item.
Add Menu Item Details
In the Name field, enter a label such as:
- "Do Not Sell My Personal Information"
- "Privacy Choices"
- "Your Privacy Rights"
Select Privacy Link
In the Link field, click the dropdown and select Pages. Choose the privacy policy page created by Avada Cookie Consent. This page contains the CCPA opt-out form.
Save
Click Save to add the link to your menu. Visit your storefront to confirm the link appears and directs visitors to the correct privacy page.
