Quick start guide helps walk you through the very first steps of SEO journey
Avada SEO Suite is a platform that helps Shopify users with SEO. After installing Avada SEO Suite from Shopify App Store, you can get access to app in Shopify admin.
We'll cover the basics & introduce some key features like Site Speed up, Image Optimizer. Here are 6 steps to get your store ready with SEO.
1. Speed up your store
40% of visitors tend to leave a website that takes longer than 3 seconds to load.
Websites that load quickly and provide a smooth user experience are more likely to rank higher in Google's search results.
Go to app admin -> Dashboard
In the "Improve your search ranking", click to open tab Speed up your store
Click "Go to settings"
Turn on Site speed up.
2. Optimize images
Optimizing images helps your web pages load faster, boosts your search engine rankings, and attracts more visitors to your website.
In fact, did you know that pages with optimized images can load up to 40% faster? That's a big impact on your website's performance and visibility.
Go to app admin -> Dashboard
In the "Improve your search ranking", click to open tab Optimize images
Click Check it out
Click Optimize now to start optimizing your images
If there're lots of pictures in your website, you might need to wait for a while.
After image optimization is finished, you can check each image to make sure they're all compressed, the alt and file name is optimized.

Image3. SEO audit
The SEO audit is a crucial step for your success in the world of SEO.

SEO Audit4. Google Structured Data
Google uses structured data to understand the content of your webiste.
Adding structured data can enable search results that are more engaging to users and might encourage them to interact more with your website, which are called rich results.
Go to app admin -> Dashboard
In the "Enable Structured data for eCommerce", click to open tab and click Go to settings.
Then you're directed to Google Structured Data tab. Check preview of how each page appears on search page and turn it on. You can set up your search result content then enable Google structured data.

5. Optimize meta tags
meta
tags are HTML tags used to provide additional information about a page to search engines.
Avada SEO Suite helps you to set up your meta tags easily with preview on search results. You can use Meta tags basic and Meta tag rule to set up your meta tags.
Go to app admin -> Dashboard
In the "Optimize your meta tags", click to open tab and click Go to settings.
Then you're directed to Meta tags. You can set up your meta tags using either basic or rule mode.
Meta tag basic
In Meta tag basic, you can set up meta tags for Homepage and every Product page, Collection page and Blog posts.

We set up your default meta tags ready to use, you just need to turn them on. You can freely edit them to fit your store brand voice. Then remember click Save to save all settings.
Meta tag rule
In Meta tag rule, you set up your own rule to create your meta tags of your Product pages, Collection pages and Blog posts.
For example: You want Summer Collection have different meta tag to Winter Collection, use Meta tag rule to set up.

Meta tags6. Google Search Console
Google Search Console is a web service by Google which help you check indexing status, search queries, crawling errors and optimize visibility on search result page.
