Avada SEO Suite's Image optimization helps slim down images for faster load times, improved SEO, and a smoother user experience.
What is Image optimization?
Optimizing images helps your site load quickly, pleasing both Google Search and your visitors. Some best practices are: compress images, use descriptive file names, and remember to set alt tags for a solid SEO boost, use image sitemap.
How does Image optimization help?
Avada SEO Suite Image optimization help you:
Compress image for a smaller size with the same quality
Convert to supported image formats
Make sure every image have image alt
How does it work?
Go to "Image optimization"
In Settings, set up your image optimization settings
Set up Image quality You can use auto mode (Automatic, High, Medium, Low quality) or custom quality to compress image size.
Convert to WEBP By selecting this, all images will be converted to WEBP after optimization
Select what images you want to optimize
All products images: All images of your products (product description's included)
Published product images and product description's photo
This is an image in the product description Click Optimize now to start optimizing your images
If there're lots of pictures in your website, it takes a moment to scan and optimize them all.
After optimization
When the optimization process is done, you can check your images on store front. If you see any change or problem, contact our support team or you can click Revert to get back your original version.

You can check Summary and Performance to take an overall look on the image optimization.

To take action on each image, go to Image optimization manager in Summary.
View history
In Image optimization, click View history.
In history, you can check on each time of image optimization: total optimized image and how much space you saved.
