# Speed up - custom mode

With custom mode, you can check a list of speed up feature and set up them in your way.&#x20;

1. Go to "Speed up"  -> "Site speed up"
2. In Speed up mode, select Custom

3. Click **Settings**. You can [customize speed up mode](/seo-suite-help-center/site-speed-up/speed-up-custom-mode.md) with your own settings.

4. Click **Speed up**&#x20;

We'll create a copy of your store to speed up without risk on your first speed up. You can preview and check your speed-optimized store before going live.

On your next speed up, you can select to apply changes directly to your site or speed up now.
