Optimize in Bulk

Optimize in bulk

Instead of opening every page and fixing issues one by one, pick a score threshold and let AI optimize all pages below it in one run. You review the suggested changes before anything is published to your store.

What is Optimize in bulk?

On-page audit gives every product, collection, blog post and page an on-page score. Optimize in bulk takes all the pages scoring below the threshold you choose and asks AI to rewrite the fields you allow: meta title and description, URL handle, content and FAQs.

The result is a list of proposed changes with a before and after comparison for each page. Nothing is written to Shopify until you click Apply.

Before you start

  • Run a scan first. Only pages that already have an on-page score can be picked up by the threshold filter. If you have just installed the app, click the refresh icon next to Report and wait for the scan to finish.
  • Make sure you have enough AI credits. To start a run, your remaining credits must be equal to or greater than the Maximum charge shown in the estimate.

How to run a bulk optimization

Open the audit report

Go to SEO Audit → On-page audit. In the Report card, click Optimize.

Choose the score threshold

Drag the slider under Optimize pages scoring below to set the threshold. The default is 50, and you can jump to 30, 50 or 80 with the shortcuts below the slider.

A lower threshold means fewer pages and fewer credits. A higher threshold covers more pages.

Pick the fields AI can change

Under Fields to optimize, keep the fields you want AI to rewrite and untick the rest:

  • Meta title & description
  • URL handle
  • Content
  • FAQs

All four are selected by default. Then click Estimate.

Check the credit estimate

The app shows how many pages match your threshold, the Estimated credits and the Maximum charge. You are only charged for what is actually used, so the final number is usually lower than the maximum.

Click Start optimizing to run, or Back to change the threshold or fields.

The job runs in the background. You can close the page or keep working. The audit page shows a progress banner while AI is working and a Bulk AI content fix completed banner with a Review & apply button when it finishes.

Review and publish the changes

Open the results

Click Review & apply on the completion banner, or click History in the Report card and select the run you want.

Compare before and after

The Bulk AI content fix page lists every page in the run with its score before and after, its status and the credits it used. Click a row to see the before and after comparison for each field, including the keyword, related keywords, meta title, meta description, URL, content and FAQs.

Issues that AI cannot fix are listed separately under Remaining issues (not AI fixable).

Publish the ones you want

Click Apply all to publish everything, or tick individual rows and click Apply selected to publish only those. This is the step that writes the changes to Shopify.

⚠️

If you let AI change the URL handle, the app automatically creates a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one, so existing links and search results do not break.

Re-run or undo

  • Re-optimize all or Re-optimize selected: ask AI for a new suggestion on the same pages. This uses credits again.
  • Revert all or Revert selected: restore the previous content on pages you already applied. Credits already spent are not refunded.
  • Cancel: stop a run that is still in progress, from the job page or from the action menu in History.

Track past runs

Click History in the Report card to see every bulk run: the date, page type, total pages, how many were fixed or failed, the run status and progress, the apply status and the credits used. From the action menu on each row you can apply a finished run or cancel one that is still going.

Good to know

  • Only one bulk run can be active at a time. The Optimize button is disabled while a scan or another run is in progress.
  • AI improves content fields only. Technical and structural factors stay unchanged, so some pages will not reach a score of 100 even after a successful run.
  • If the new score is not higher than the original score, the page is marked as Skipped and no credits are charged for it.
