Editing an Order from the Admin
Luna Order Editing is a customer self-service app: the Edit your order widget lives on the customer's Thank you and Order status pages. The app does not add its own order-editing screen inside the Shopify admin.
When you need to change an order yourself, you use Shopify's own native order editing on the order page. The app works alongside it.
Editing an order yourself
- Open the order in Shopify admin → Orders.
- Use Shopify's native Edit action to change items, or Shopify's built-in controls to edit the address, add a note, or cancel.
- Shopify applies the change and handles any charge or refund through its own flow.
How the app reacts
While an order is being edited from the admin, the app detects Shopify's order-edited event and briefly locks the customer's Edit your order widget on that order (about 5 minutes), so a customer edit and your edit don't collide.
