Install the App
Avada Order Editing installs in the same way as any other Shopify app.
Steps
- Open the Avada Order Editing listing (opens in a new tab) on the Shopify App Store.
- Click Install app.
- Shopify shows an access request screen with the permissions the app needs (orders, customers, theme app extensions, etc.). Click Install app again to confirm.
- Shopify redirects you back to your admin and the app opens on the Home dashboard.
Permissions the app requests

What happens on first launch
On first launch, the app creates safe defaults so nothing is empty:
- Allowed edit types: address only (cancel and note off until you turn them on).
- Edit time window: off (customer can edit until the order is fulfilled).
- Email notifications: cancel only (only cancellations email you, edits are silent).
- Quickstart card on the dashboard with 3 steps to finish setup.
You can change all of these in Settings.

Uninstalling
Go to your Shopify admin → Apps → find Avada Order Editing → click Delete. We delete your store data within 48 hours per GDPR. See the Privacy Policy for details.
