Affiliate Portal Overview

Welcome — this section of the user guide is written for you, the affiliate. It walks through every screen of your portal: what you see, how to find your referral link, how to track your earnings, and how to manage your payment details.

If you are a merchant setting up an affiliate program, the rest of this documentation (everything outside the Affiliate Portal section) is for you. This section is what you can point your affiliates to.

What is the affiliate portal?

The affiliate portal is a web app where you, as an affiliate, can:

  • See your earnings in real time.
  • Copy your unique referral link to share on social media, blogs, YouTube, etc.
  • See your coupon codes (if the merchant has given you one).
  • Track every referral order you brought in, and see if it has been approved.
  • See your payout history — what has been paid and what is still coming.
  • Update your profile — payment method, password, contact info.

Every merchant who uses Avada Affiliate Marketing gives their affiliates the same portal — so once you know your way around it for one brand, you know it for all of them.

How do I get access?

There are two ways:

  1. The merchant adds you directly — you receive a welcome email with a link to set your password.
  2. You sign up via the merchant's public link — you fill in the form yourself and wait for approval.

The portal at a glance

Once you log in, you see four main screens accessible from the left sidebar:

DashboardOverview — program info, performance stats, your referral link, your discount code (if any).
CommissionsEvery referral order you brought in, with status (Pending / Approved / Paid / Denied / Refund adjustment). The route is /conversions but the sidebar label and page heading both say "Commissions".
PayoutsYour payment history — past payments, what is awaiting payout, and total earned.
ProfileYour name, payment method, password, and a read-only summary of your program.

Your referral link

The single most important thing in the portal is your referral link. It looks like:

https://merchant-store.myshopify.com?affily_ref=AFF-ABC123

The AFF-ABC123 part (or a custom code the merchant gave you, like SARAH) is unique to you. Whenever someone clicks this link and buys from the store within 30 days (or whatever the merchant set), you earn commission.

You can copy this link from two places:

  • Dashboard — the Affiliate Link card with a Copy button.
  • Profile — the Your Affiliate Link card at the top.

Your coupon code (if you have one)

If the merchant attached a coupon to your program, you will also see a coupon code you can share (e.g. SARAH10 for 10% off). When a customer uses your code at checkout, it counts as a referral — even if they never clicked your link. This is great for content like Instagram reels or TikToks where links are hard to share.

How do I get paid?

The merchant handles payments outside the app — usually via PayPal, bank transfer, or store credit. The portal shows:

  • Your current unpaid balance.
  • Your past payouts with date, amount, and method.

You do not initiate payouts yourself. The merchant triggers them on their own schedule (usually monthly). You will get an email when a payout is on the way.
