Managing Connections
Everything about connected assistants lives on the AI connections page: who has access, what they may do, how to narrow or cut it, and what they have changed.
See which AI assistants can access your store, what they can read and propose, and stop any of them.
The list
Connected AI assistants shows one row per connection, with the connection name you chose and Connected {date}, plus two buttons, Edit and Revoke. With nothing connected, the card reads No AI assistant is connected.
Past a large number of connections the page shows only the most recent ones and suggests revoking any you no longer use.
Edit, to narrow permissions
Edit opens the connection's name and its eleven permission tick boxes. Untick what you no longer want to allow and save. The narrower set applies on the assistant's next request, with nothing to reconnect.
You cannot untick everything: Tick at least one permission. To take away all of them, revoke the connection instead.
Revoke, to cut access
Revoke ends the connection:
This assistant will lose access to your store. It can't read your affiliate data until you connect it again.
Revoking takes effect immediately, on the assistant's very next request.
To undo this, you need to connect the assistant again from scratch.
There is no undo from the admin. Revoke when an assistant is no longer used, when someone leaves the team, or whenever you see a connection you do not recognise. Reconnecting later is cheap.
Change history
The bottom card records what assistants have changed, in four columns: What changed, Change, Assistant, and When.
- A proposal touching several fields shows as {count} fields changed; open it to see each one.
- Long content shows as Content changed rather than the text itself.
- On and off switches read as On, Off, or None.
- Rows are grouped by the area changed: referral cookie window, store name and support address, payout schedule, order tagging, email notifications, program rules, affiliate status, conversion approvals.
Only assistant changes are recorded. What you do yourself in the app is not, so this is an AI audit trail rather than a general settings log. It is also the one thing here that is never automatically cleared.
Routine hygiene
- Name each assistant something you will still recognise in three months.
- Grant the propose permissions only while you need them, and untick them afterwards.
- Read the change history after any session where you approved something.
