Avada Affiliate Marketing is free. No monthly fee. No per-affiliate fee. No commission cut on payouts.
What's included
Every feature documented in this user guide is included, without limits:
- Unlimited programs — run as many as you want.
- Unlimited affiliates — no cap on how many affiliates you enroll.
- Unlimited conversions — no cap on orders tracked.
- Unlimited payouts — no fee per payout.
- Both commission rules — Fixed (Percentage / Flat) and Tiered, plus Special product commission overrides.
- Email notifications — for merchants and affiliates.
- Affiliate portal — full-featured web portal for affiliates.
- Web Pixel + Theme Extension — both tracking mechanisms.
- Auto-tagging — Shopify order tag integration.
- Refund handling — automatic commission adjustments.
- Multi-currency — works with Shopify's multi-currency stores.
What's NOT included (today)
Features that are on the roadmap but not yet live:
- Automatic payouts (direct payment via PayPal / Stripe Connect). You still pay outside the app and mark as paid.
- CSV export for tax / accounting. Available on request via support.
- Sub-affiliate / MLM tiers.
- Per-affiliate custom commission rates (within a program). Use separate programs as a workaround.
- Built-in affiliate recruitment marketplace.
Why is it free?
Avada builds a suite of Shopify apps (Chatty AI, Joy Loyalty, SEO Suite, AOV.ai, Air Reviews, and more). Affiliate Marketing is free to help Shopify stores grow — and in the process, introduce them to other Avada apps.

Will it always be free?
We commit to keeping the current feature set free for all existing users. If we introduce a Pro plan in the future:
- All features listed above stay on the free tier.
- Pro features would be additional (e.g. automatic payouts, advanced analytics).
- Existing users are never forced onto a paid plan.
Support costs
- Email support — free, included. 24h response on weekdays.
- Live chat — available from the Helpdesk card on the app's Home dashboard (Chat with us button) and on the help center.
- Dedicated onboarding — free for stores doing $100k+/month in affiliate sales. Ask support.
Third-party costs
While the app is free, you are still responsible for:
- Shopify plan fees — required to use any Shopify app.
- Payment processor fees — when you actually send money to affiliates (PayPal fees, wire fees, etc.).
- Email costs — none, unless you customize and use your own ESP.
