Email Notifications
The app sends a handful of emails triggered by affiliate activity. You can turn each type on or off separately. Default is all on — which is the right setup for most merchants starting out.
Where to configure
Settings page → Email Notifications card → Merchant Notifications subsection.
Emails you (merchant) can toggle
The card has exactly three toggles (defaults all on):

Turn off New conversion if your program is high-volume — hundreds of emails a day gets noisy. You can still review conversions in the admin.
The payout reminder email (sent on the schedule you set in Payment Schedule) is automatic and not toggleable today.
Emails sent to affiliates
These are sent automatically when the relevant event happens. There is no per-email toggle for affiliate emails today — they all fire when their trigger fires.

Customizing email content
Limited customization is available:
- Denial reason — free-text field; appears in the denial email.
- Signature — your store name (from General Settings).
- Reply-to address — your support email (from General Settings).

Rate limits and anti-spam
To prevent abuse:
- Password reset — max 3 requests per email per 15 minutes. More triggers a "Too many requests" error.
- Welcome email — one per affiliate. If re-activated after deletion, a new welcome email is sent.
These limits are silent — affiliates do not see them.
Preview an email
To see how a specific email looks:
- Create a test affiliate with your own email.
- Trigger the event (approve, deny, etc.) on that test affiliate.
- Check your inbox.
We do not have an in-app preview today. Previews are on our roadmap.
Unsubscribe
Affiliates can unsubscribe from commission-earned and payout-reminder emails via the link at the bottom of each email. They cannot unsubscribe from:
- Welcome / approval / denial emails (transactional).
- Payout confirmation emails (legal / tax).
- Password reset emails.
